What are the responsibilities and job description for the MM Warehouse Level 2/CDL: 1st Shift position at Creative Food Ingredients Inc?
Position Overview: Engages in receiving, transporting, stacking, sorting, supplying, shipping, maintaining, and recording stock within the warehouse. This position also utilizes a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to safely transport materials, products, supplies, and equipment between company plant and storage facilities and to other locations as needed to support business operations.
Essential Job Functions:
? Unloads and arranges incoming packaging freight for storage in the warehouse.
? Unloads incoming raw materials.
? Inspects incoming freight to ensure all items listed on the freight bill or bill of lading are received and notify the manager or lead of damaged or missing goods.
? Enters packaging materials received into the computer system.
? Labels, palletizers, and packs products for shipment.
? Loads outgoing freight.
? Moves packaging materials into and out of the pack-end area to support production.
? Rotates stock as required.
? Participates in inventory counts of materials and products to maintain accurate inventory records.
? Cleans warehouse and production areas when necessary.
? Safely operates company commercial vehicles to transfer raw materials, finished products, packaging, supplies, equipment, and other items between the plant and company storage facilities or other locations as needed.
? Safely loads, secures, transport, and unloads materials in accordance with company procedures and applicable transportation requirements.
? Completes required vehicle inspections, transportation documentation, and other records associated with CDL driving responsibilities.
? Immediately reports vehicle concerns, accidents, safety issues, or transportation-related incidents to management.
? Performs all other reasonable work requests from the supervisor.
Requirements:
? I preferred 1 years of experience working in a food manufacturing facility.
? Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is appropriate for the type of company vehicle operated.
? Must maintain all required qualifications and eligibility to operate company commercial vehicles.
? Must be able to safely operate commercial vehicles and perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
? Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to all company safety policies.
? Strong organizational skills.
? Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and NAV.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
? Ethical conduct.
Salary : $42,479 - $62,584
