Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities
- Bank reconciliations for multiple business operating accounts.
- Manage state tax accruals, payments, and compliance.
- Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
- Support internal and external auditors during quarterly and year-end audits.
- Provide financial guidance and advice to the finance department and company personnel as needed to ensure successful job performance and overall company success.
- Analyze and interpret departmental needs, identifying and resolving financial problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting.
- 3-5 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel.
- Able to identify and implement financial process improvements and internal controls, with a keen eye for detail.
