This role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organized accounting professional to join our client's dynamic team in the sports and retail industry.
The ideal candidate will possess strong full-cycle accounting skills, with experience in managing high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. This includes processing thousands of invoices, reconciling complex payments across multiple platforms, and following up on outstanding payments via phone and email.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and reconcile high-volume AP/AR transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes.
- Manage and maintain accurate vendor files, including credit card details and allocation within the general ledger.
- Perform month-end close tasks and contribute to the continuous improvement of AP/AR processes.
- Cut checks, prepare ACH payments, and handle virtual credit card transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and corporate credit cards, ensuring all data is accurately posted to the general ledger.
- Foster strong relationships with internal departments to gather necessary information for efficient financial management.
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes for bank and credit card accounts.
- Proven experience handling ACH, virtual credit card payments, and check processing.
- Comfortable performing outbound collection calls and working with customers to resolve payment issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general ledger accounting systems.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
