Job Title: Accounting Manager

A well-established company is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee project cost analysis, maintain fixed asset records, and support financial reporting. This role requires strong leadership, expertise in NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills to drive accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Consolidate foreign subsidiary financials into NetSuite and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and company policies.
• Analyze project cost data against quotes, ensuring proper cost allocation.
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset ledger, including tracking asset acquisitions, disposals, and monthly depreciation.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, external audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members, providing training and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments, including operations and finance, to improve cross-functional processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields from an accredited institution required.
• CPA highly preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
• Previous experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant, with NetSuite expertise.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills.
