Overview Of The Senior Accountant/Grant Accountant Role

As a Senior Accountant/Grant Accountant, you will:

• Perform grant accounting functions, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
• Reconcile expenses with contract terms, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Review the general ledger (GL) to validate allowable costs.
• Ensure on-time billing and maintain deadlines for contracts and grants.
• Analyze contracts to verify compliance with cost-allowability standards.
  
  

Preferred Qualification For The Senior Accountant/Grant Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in grant and contract accounting, with the ability to navigate complex agreement a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Infor is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to deadlines and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
