About The Role

What You’ll Do
- Own Financial Reporting: Lead all aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of accurate, timely financial statements.
- Manage Billing & AR: Oversee customer invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition to ensure precision and timeliness.
- Drive FP&A: Build and maintain financial models, analyze performance trends, and provide actionable insights to guide leadership decisions.
- Track Forecast vs. Budget: Monitor actuals against forecasted figures, identify variances, and offer recommendations to enhance financial outcomes.
- Administer Contracts: Independently manage customer and vendor contracts with a focus on financial compliance and documentation accuracy.
- Optimize Processes: Refine and automate finance operations, leveraging tools like NetSuite to streamline reporting and workflows.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with leadership and department heads to ensure financial strategies align with broader business goals.
- Shape the Future Team: Play a critical role in structuring and scaling the finance function as the organization grows.
- 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a start-up or high-growth setting
- Strong command of accounting, billing, FP&A, and contract management
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP systems (preferred)
- Proven ability to work independently and own end-to-end financial processes
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to distill and communicate insights clearly
- CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus—but not required

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
