Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) has partnered with a distinguished nonprofit organization in Boston to identify a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This executive-level role will oversee the organization’s financial operations and serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team and Board.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial strategy, planning, and operations
• Oversee accounting, reporting, compliance, and internal controls
• Partner with the CEO and Board on long-term financial planning
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support mission growth
• Supervise and develop finance staff, ensuring operational excellence
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit regulatory requirements
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 10 years of progressive financial leadership, with nonprofit experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience overseeing both strategic and day-to-day finance functions
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
