Reporting to the Event Director, the Event Producer will provide support with planning, organizing, and executing catered events from concept to completion. This position focuses on operational logistics, coordination between internal departments, and on-site event execution ensuring every event meets Creative Edge Parties’ standards for quality, creativity, and client satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

• Partner with the Event Director to plan and execute catered events, ensuring all logistics, timelines, and budgets align with client expectations and company standards.
• Manage all event logistics, including food & beverage coordination, rentals, design elements, staffing, transportation, setup, and teardown.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Operations, Design, Warehouse, and Sales teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment across departments.
• Support budget management for food & beverage, rentals, décor, and staffing, ensuring profitability and accuracy in event costing.
• Create and maintain production documents including run-of-show schedules, floor plans, and staff assignments.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal teams, vendors, and field staff through email, meetings, and event documentation.
• Maintain proficiency in required software systems (FileMaker, MotionAI, PowerPoint, and other internal tools) to manage timelines, budgets, and reports.
• Participate in internal meetings, site inspections, and networking events as directed.
• Ensure compliance with company processes for travel, purchasing, and expense documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends and maintain awareness of the competitive event landscape.
• Lead on-site event execution, troubleshoot in real time, and uphold Creative Edge Parties’ commitment to service excellence.
• Contribute to post-event debriefs and reconciliation to identify operational improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

• College Degree or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in event production, catering, or hospitality, preferably in a high-volume or luxury catering environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of catering logistics, event design, and vendor coordination.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and event management tools such as Prismm and Filemaker.
• Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods during event production.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. for event setup.
• Comfort working long hours, including evenings and weekends, during peak event seasons, including Holidays if necessary.
