What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Creative Dynamic?
Creative Dynamic is a rapidly expanding production studio based in Naperville, IL. We produce documentaries, doc-series, unscripted television formats, and branded content all with a mix of creativity, precision, and high-level execution.
We’re now looking for an Accountant who brings that same clarity and reliability to our financial operations.
This is a key role in our company. You’ll oversee the full accounting function across multiple entities, support leadership directly, and help us keep our growing business organized, compliant, and future-focused.
What You’ll Own:
- Full-cycle accounting: bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting
- AP/AR, contractor payments, and production-related invoicing
- Documentation & prep for all tax filings; coordination with external tax services
- Compliance for business registrations and financial recordkeeping
- Building and improving internal systems for expenses, reimbursements, and project reporting
- Monthly summaries, financial insights, and budget forecasting support
- Keeping everything accurate, organized, and audit-ready
What You Bring:
- 5 years of professional accounting experience (media/production experience is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong understanding of small-business accounting & business tax compliance
- Familiarity with LLC structures and multi-entity accounting is a major plus
- Exceptional organization, accuracy, and discretion
Compensation & Benefits:
- $65,000 – $75,000 salary
