Creative Dreamers KC is a fast-growing Kansas City–based creative company offering DJ & event services, video production, branding, and marketing support for local businesses. We help companies stand out with high-quality content, storytelling, and unique creative experiences.

We are looking for a passionate Sales & Marketing Representative who wants to grow with us and be part of building a powerful local brand. This role is commission-only to start, with an industry-leading commission structure:

• 30% commission on all new clients
• 15% monthly retention commission for clients who continue working with us

As Creative Dreamers KC expands, this position can grow into a full-time salaried sales role with leadership opportunities.

Job Summary

As our Marketing & Sales Representative, you will be the frontline face of Creative Dreamers KC. You will introduce local businesses to our DJ/event services, video production capabilities, and marketing solutions—showing them how we can elevate their brand and help them grow.

This role includes cold outreach, B2B sales, in-person client meetings, and strategic follow-ups. If you’re driven, energetic, and ready to help KC businesses level up their content and marketing presence, this role is for you.

Services You’ll Be Selling

You will actively promote and sell Creative Dreamers KC’s full suite of services, including:

Video Production

• Promotional business videos
• Social media content
• Event recap videos
• Music videos
• Interviews, testimonials & branding videos

DJ & Event Services

• Weddings
• Private events
• Corporate functions
• Parties & community events

Marketing & Creative Support

• Branding assistance
• Social media content creation
• Marketing strategy support
• Visual branding and creative consultation

Your goal is to help local companies grow by connecting them to our creative solutions.

Commission Structure

• 30% commission for all new client sales
• 15% recurring commission for monthly, retainer, or repeat clients
• Unlimited earning potential — the more you bring in, the more you earn
• Pathway to full-time salaried sales as our business scales

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cold outreach, B2B prospecting, and lead generation to find new clients.
• Schedule and attend client-facing meetings to discuss their needs and present our services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, event planners, and individuals in Kansas City.
• Present and explain Creative Dreamers KC’s services in a clear, compelling way.
• Use CRM software to manage leads, track conversations, and organize follow-up activity.
• Negotiate deals and contracts while maintaining positive client relationships.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with our creative team to deliver custom solutions for client projects.
• Stay aware of local market trends, business opportunities, and competitor activities.
• Represent Creative Dreamers KC professionally at meetings, events, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in sales, B2B outreach, or marketing sales (preferred but not required for motivated candidates).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Confidence in cold calling, cold emailing, and face-to-face interactions.
• Comfortable meeting clients in person and presenting services.
• Self-motivated, organized, and goal-driven — especially in a commission-based role.
• Understanding of creative services, digital marketing, or video production (a plus).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation for client meetings around Kansas City.
