What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility - Full Time - First Shift position at Creative Dining Services?
Creative Dining Services is looking for a Utility staff member at Northpoint Christian School in Southaven, MS. The Utility staff members work to ensure the facility is clean, sanitary, safe and suitable for food preparation and the customer experience. Utility staff help ensure equipment, tables, chairs, floors, trash bins, loading areas, and food
storage areas are clean, in good working condition, and are regularly attended to.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensures trash bins are clean and emptied as needed throughout the day. Picks up trash and debris around dock, employee entrance and landscaping areas
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors as needed
- Keeps the dock and receiving area clean and organized at all times
- Works in the dishroom as required, ensuring all equipment, pots/pans, smallwares and serviceware is clean and safe for use
- Scrubs and mops the cooler floors daily
- Assists in cleaning back of house (i.e. work tables, walls, etc.) and front of house (i.e. guest tables, dispensers, walls, carpets, tables)
- Cleans and organizes the janitor's closet
- Cleans employee restrooms and checks all the paper towel and soap dispensers, and refills them daily
- For those working in a lead role, additional duties include:
- Provide leadership and instruction; Keep management apprised of overall operations;
- Refer and provide information to higher level manager/supervisor regarding issues or concerns; and perform other duties as assigned.
Hours are 7:30am - 2:30pm
