Core Responsibilities
- Direct Food Prep: Plan and time food production perfectly so every meal is ready exactly at service time.
- Lead and Train: Supervise, mentor, and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards and smooth operations.
- Manage Operations: Read function sheets, build prep sheets, design duty rosters, and handle kitchen opening or closing shifts.
- Control Production: Utilize batch cooking techniques to maximize freshness and eliminate food waste.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Culinary Arts Degree is highly preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years of professional cooking experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Certifications: ServSafe Certification and First Aid training are required.
