What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Cook-Part Time position at Creative Dining Services?
Creative Dining Services is looking for a Part Time Seasonal Cook to serve our guests at Geneva Camp and Retreat Center for the 2026 summer season. Come join our Team and have a fun filled summer serving our guests and enjoying the gorgeous setting on the shores of Lake Michigan.
The Cook works within the Dining Services Department to ensure that high quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is being provided throughout the operation, in a fiscally responsible and safe manner. Works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary.
Schedule: Will vary based on camp group reservations. Scheduled shifts will fall in the hours between 6am-7:30pm, including weekends.
Position begins in May 2026 and will conclude in August 2026.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Minimum of 2 years cooking experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- ServSafe Certification preferred but not required
