Creative Dining Services is seeking a temporary Operations Support Specialist to support contract food services culinary, technology, and procurement projects across all segments, with a focus on independent K-12!
What You'll Do
- Project Management & Implementation: Lead and project manage culinary and procurement projects as assigned for contract food services
- Menu Technology Evaluation & Recommendations: Assess current adoption rates and barriers to usage through stakeholder interviews and user experience audits. Recommend improvements to executive leadership.
- Procurement & Order Guide Optimization: Review and analyze current order guides across all segments and make recommendations.
- Independent K-12 Segment Strategy: Evaluate culinary and procurement practices specific to the K-12 segment and develop a strategy in partnership with the Corporate Executive Chef and Operations leadership.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Hospitality, or similar field required. Advanced degree preferred. Will consider equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of multi-unit hospitality or dining services leadership with at least 3 years of enterprise-level experience required.
- Experience with independent K-12 culinary operations and procurement required.
- ServSafe Certification
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently.
Physical Demands / Work Environment
The position involves working in an office environment operating standard office equipment and technology along with physical work in a commercial kitchen environment. Environment may include hot, humid, or cold temperatures. May require extended working hours and days.
