Creative Dining is hiring immediately for a full-time Barista.
Location: 3201 Burton St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546
Schedule: Full time schedule.
Requirement: 1-2 years of customer service or barista experience required.
Pay Range: $16 - $18

Job Summary
The Barista ensures smooth operations at the coffee shop by delivering fast, efficient, and friendly service. This role focuses on customer experience, product knowledge, and upholding safe and clean work practices.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Customer Service: Serve customers in a friendly, positive, and helpful manner.
Beverage & Food Prep: Prepare and present drinks and food according to established recipes and standards.
Issue Resolution: Respond proactively to customer concerns and resolve issues when they arise.
Point of Sale: Operate cash registers, credit card machines, and other devices accurately.
Cash Handling: Ensure all transactions are processed properly and accurately during each shift.
Communication: Share updates, goals, and concerns with staff and supervisors as needed.
Industry Awareness: Stay current on coffee trends and suggest operational improvements.
Menu Input: Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas.
Event Support: Help with special events and promotions as assigned.
Inventory Management: Assist with ordering, receiving, and tracking inventory.
Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
