This is a full-time, on-site role located in Las Vegas, NV, for a Prepress and Graphics Technician. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and modifying artwork files for print production, ensuring color accuracy, and designing or adjusting layouts for various printing projects. The technician will operate and maintain prepress equipment, collaborate closely with the production team to ensure quality standards, and provide troubleshooting support for printing issues. Additionally, they will work on creating digital and print-ready files for high-quality commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency in prepress tools and techniques, including color management, file preparation, and printing technology
- Skills in graphic design, including creating and modifying layouts, typography, and image editing
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar applications
- Ability to operate and maintain advanced printing and bookbinding equipment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting print issues
- Experience in quality control to maintain commercial-grade printing standards
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work within a dynamic team and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with signage, banner printing, or book printing is a plus
- A degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Print Technology, or a related field
