The Opportunity Coordinator plays a pivotal role in identifying, cultivating, and securing new youth program partnerships for Creative Development Studios across Baltimore and the Baltimore/DC Metropolitan area. This position will focus on expanding our reach into new schools, cities, and community-based organizations by building relationships, submitting proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to secure new business and ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of enrichment services. The ideal candidate is a connector, researcher, and doer, someone with a heart for youth development and a sharp eye for opportunity.

Director of Youth Development / Executive Director
Critical Tasks & Responsibilities
- Identify new markets, school districts, and funding streams aligned with Creative Development Studios’ mission
- Research and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and partnership opportunities for afterschool and in-school programming
- Build and maintain relationships with school leaders, CBOs, and youth-focused agencies
- Identify and coordinate outreach, presentations, and site visits to showcase our programming
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to ensure successful transition and launch of new partner sites
Competencies and Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field
- 3 years of experience in partnership development, outreach, or youth program coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (comfortable presenting to school leaders)
- Organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities at once
- Passion for arts education, youth development, and community impact
Desired
- Existing relationships with Baltimore City Schools, regional school districts and/or community based organizations
- Grant-writing or proposal development experience
- Familiarity with enrichment programs or OST (Out-of-School Time) frameworks
- CRM or project management software knowledge (e.g., HubSpot, Asana)
- Bilingual or culturally responsive communication skills

This is a hybrid role, with some on-site work in Baltimore and some remote flexibility. Travel to prospective schools or city partners within Maryland and nearby regions is expected. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for events or meetings.
