We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Builder to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately build cabinets and related woodwork.
- Use hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinet components.
- Measure materials precisely and perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky wood construction materials.
- Install cabinets, doors, trim, siding, drywall, fixtures, and other wood-based elements on-site with attention to detail.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed by practicing proper power tool safety procedures during all phases of construction.
- Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, stucco application, plastering, rebar installation, flooring installation, and mold remediation as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential carpentry or woodworking with a strong background in cabinet building or trim carpentry.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and the ability to interpret construction plans accurately.
- Hands-on experience operating woodworking machines and power tools for framing, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and fixture hanging.
- Knowledge of various wood construction materials including siding, moldings, doors, and flooring products.
- Prior work on construction sites involving heavy lifting, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, or restoration industry projects is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely with power tools for woodworking while adhering to all safety standards related to power tool use.
- Additional handyman skills such as drywall finishing or remodeling experience will be considered a plus.
