Youth Advocate
The Youth Advocate worker will report to the Director of the Creative Connections Clubhouse.
The Youth Advocate works closely with staff and director to ensure that the Clubhouse mission, goals, and objectives are met.
The Creative Connections Clubhouse provides equal access for all adolescents ages 12-17 and young adults 18-21, who have or are at risk of developing an addiction.
Responsibilities
- Maintains friendly, welcoming, and positive atmosphere in the Clubhouse at all times.
- Supervise members at all times
- Develops and initiates different clubs and recreation programs
- Ensures that all members sign in and out of the building if supervising the front desk
- Collaborates and cooperates with all volunteers
- Ensures that all equipment is kept up to date, safe, and in good working order
- Preforms other job responsibilities at the request of the Director of the Clubhouse and the Director of Youth and Community Outreach
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
