Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman to lead and supervise construction projects on-site, ensuring that work progresses efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a proactive leader with strong technical expertise in construction management, site supervision, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage teams of skilled workers, and coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and budgets. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a safe work environment while delivering exceptional results on complex construction sites.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in concrete finishing and block to work side by side with a 3 (or more) man crew
- Must have reliable transportation
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
- Lead and manage teams of workers, subcontractors, and vendors to optimize productivity and quality of work
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide on-site execution
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam for scheduling, documentation, and communication
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards
- Oversee site safety programs in accordance with OSHA regulations; enforce safety procedures consistently
- Manage change orders, and procurement processes to keep projects within scope and budget
- Coordinate with project managers on project scheduling, resource allocation, and resolving on-site issues
Skills
- Proven experience supervising construction sites with a strong understanding of construction management principles
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P6 (Primavera P6), HeavyBid, and other relevant tools
- Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of contracts management and construction estimating processes
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and implementing effective safety protocols on-site
- Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership, conflict resolution, and quality assurance
- Effective communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, and vendors
