Our client, a world renowned hospital in Boston, is looking to hire a contract Social Media Specialist for 3-6 months! This role will focus on developing innovative social media strategies, enhancing brand presence, and driving engagement through compelling content. Social media content will focus on patient stories and fundraising efforts across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
This role is a 3-6 month contract, 40 hours per week, with the potential to convert to full time. The team works on site from their Boston office 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals.
- Create, curate, and manage published content across various social media platforms.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics and trends.
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to leverage new opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in social media management or marketing.
- Proven experience in developing successful social media strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media analytics tools and reporting.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Sprinklr is a plus.
