Graphic Designer
This role is responsible for designing and developing innovative packaging solutions for a high-end beauty brand focused on performance, bold expression, and individuality. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life, from initial sketches through production-ready artwork, while maintaining alignment with established brand guidelines. The ideal candidate brings both creative vision and technical expertise to deliver elevated, executable designs in a fast-paced environment.
The Basics
Duration: 6 month
Hours per week: Approximately 40 hours per week
Location requirements: Hybrid
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience
- 3 years of experience as a packaging designer, ideally within beauty or luxury sectors
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept to production packaging work
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, as well as Figma
- Strong experience in 3D rendering and skilled in Rhino or SolidWorks
- Ability to create production-ready artwork for both primary and secondary packaging
- Experience working within established brand guidelines and maintaining brand consistency
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing and archiving creative assets
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing and product development
- Familiarity with market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning strategies
- Working knowledge of digital tools, web development basics, and project management platforms is a plus
- Proficiency with Mac systems and basic troubleshooting across Mac and PC environments
Key Responsibilities
- Concept, design, and develop packaging and component solutions from initial idea through production-ready artwork
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are aligned and executable
- Create production-ready files for primary and secondary packaging in accordance with brand standards
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain and organize packaging assets, establishing clear naming conventions and archiving processes
- Build and manage libraries of design files, including fonts, icons, images, templates, and related assets
- Conduct research and competitive analysis to stay current on industry trends and inform design direction
- Contribute to creative strategies and innovation initiatives that elevate packaging design
- Partner with vendors and production teams to refine designs and ensure feasibility and quality execution
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
