Exelon - Email Marketing Specialist - 139632-1

Our enterprise client in the utility space is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join their Marketing team for a 2 year contract to support the execution, development, and distribution of high-volume email campaigns. This role owns the end-to-end email execution process, partnering closely with Marketing Specialists to ensure high-quality, timely deployments.

The team currently manages 30 email sends per month, and this role will help scale that volume while allowing the existing Email Specialist to focus on strategic improvements and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute, develop, and distribute end-to-end email marketing campaigns
- Own the email workflow from intake through deployment, including:
Reviewing content and copy from Marketing Specialists
Building or modifying email templates using HTML
Coordinating campaign logistics in the email marketing platform (Eloqua preferred)

-Support audience segmentation and list management to ensure accurate targeting
- Schedule and deploy approximately 30 email campaigns per month
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Specialists and other stakeholders
- Monitor and report on basic email performance metrics (open rates, clicks, etc.)
- Ensure quality control, accuracy, and adherence to brand and campaign standards

Required Skills & Experience:
General HTML proficiency for building and editing email templates
Prior experience with email campaign execution from start to finish
Experience with audience segmentation and distribution lists
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Eloqua (strong plus)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads
Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting both B2B and B2C email campaigns
Exposure to email performance analysis and basic reporting
Understanding of email best practices and deliverability fundamentals
