What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Designer (junior-mid level) position at Creative Circle?
Our client, an independent financial advisory firm, is currently seeking a freelance junior to mid level Designer with financial services experience to join their team.
As a freelancer, this role will be fully remote and about 15-20hrs/week for 3 months to start. There is potential to extend based on performance and business need. Ideal candidates will be local to NYC as if it's a strong fit and this extends or expands to 40hrs/week, the role would move to a hybrid onsite schedule. They would consider remote candidates for the right fit.

Responsibilities
- Join the team to support a growing workload across design for marketing initiatives
- Create and adapt marketing materials across digital channels including web and social (ads, banners, posts etc)
- Using brand guidelines and some existing templates, help create and design assets for sales enablement (ppt presentations as needed), marketing campaigns, and social content
- As needed at times might also help support event materials such as digital invites, agendas, and occasional print banners
- Work within brand guidelines and templates, while contributing to ongoing brand evolution
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and senior leadership on both day-to-day and bespoke design needs
- Must have design experience within the financial services industry OR a similar regulated industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital design, marketing collateral, and social assets
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Ability to work within brand guidelines and templates, while helping evolve as needed
- Detail-oriented with an eye for layout, typography, and brand consistency
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Proactive, resourceful and flexible to changing needs and priorities
