Our client in the health and wellness space is looking for a Creative Director that specializes in digital design and mobile app experience. The client is open to helping with relocation for the right candidate.

This Role Is

• 40 hours/week
• Contract-to-hire - potential for straight direct-hire for the right person
• Hybrid onsite, 3 - 4 days per week, in the western suburbs

Our client is seeking a visionary and hands-on Creative Director with a deep understanding and experience in digital design and mobile app experiences, to lead their digital brand expression across platforms. This role is crucial in shaping the creative direction of their customer-facing digital products, with a focus on elevating their mobile app experience to best drive engagement, loyalty and growth!

Key Responsibilities Include

• Creative leadership: set the creative vision and strategy for interactive digital platforms, with an emphasis on mobile apps.
• Translate brand principles into engaging, user-centered mobile and web experiences
• Inspire and manage a team of designers, writers and content creators
• Partner with the UX design team to ensure seamless integration of functionality, usability and brand aesthetics
• Work with Content Managers to align voice, tone and storytelling with visual design
• Guide the creative development of UX/UI for mobile apps, digital tools and digital campaigns
• Review and approve visual and interactive designs, ensure they meet strategic goals and brand standards
• Maintain high standards for design excellence and consistency across all digital channels
• Identify opportunities for new interactive formats, personalization and improved mobile engagement
  
  

Ideal Creative Director Will Have

• 8 years' experience in digital / interactive design, including at least 3 years' in a creative leadership role
• Experience and portfolio that demonstrates mobile app design
• Experience managing/mentoring teams in a fast-paced, in-house or agency environment
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, agile development processes, and accessibility standards
• Ability to bring creative vision to life through prototypes, storytelling and design systems
• Proficient in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Passion for health/wellness/fitness is preferred!
