What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Marine Canvas Designer position at Creative Canvas?

We are looking for a dependable person, basic experience with tools and knowledge of boats a plus. Has to be able to work on vessels, willing to learn how to pattern, install finished projects, and basic sewing, dealing and understanding customer needs and designs.
This is a unique opportunity to learn from people with more than 30 years of experience in the marine industry. The candidate will learn from bottom up.
Creative Canvas is offering a position as an apprentice in marine canvas.
Salary is between $13 to $15/hr depending on the experience with tools.
* M-F 8:00 to 5:00 some Saturdays
* Paid holidays/year 2 Sick days.
* 1 week vacation after first year; 2 week
vacation after 4th year.
* Annual Bonus.
Candidate must have a least high school diploma or GED, driver license, speak fluent English. Good opportunity for people with 4 years designing degree.
