Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every project. This role requires a strong understanding of woodworking techniques, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members to meet client specifications and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble cabinetry and furniture according to design specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials using various tools and machinery.
- Apply finishes, such as stains or paints, to enhance the appearance of completed projects.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Perform remodeling tasks as needed, including caulking and drywall installation.
- Conduct construction estimating for projects to ensure accurate budgeting.
- Assist with electrical installations related to cabinetry when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols on the construction site.
Skills
- Proficiency in woodworking techniques and cabinet-making processes.
- Experience with remodeling projects, including caulking and construction painting.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating practices.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and plumbing tasks is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively on a construction site, demonstrating safety awareness.
- Knowledge of siding installation is a plus.
- General maintenance person skills that complement cabinet-making tasks are beneficial.
