What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Installer position at Creative Cabinet Works?
Overview
CCW is looking for experienced individuals to join our install crew! We are seeking someone who knows the cabinetry field, takes pride in their work, and has the skills to complete installations accurately and professionally.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with other installers, shop staff, and contractors. You should have hands-on cabinet installation experience and be able to work through installation challenges while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install cabinetry, fillers, trim, molding, and cabinet hardware according to project drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and installation layouts.
- Accurately read a tape measure, verify dimensions, and confirm cabinet placement before installation.
- Level, shim, align, and securely fasten cabinets using appropriate installation methods.
- Make necessary adjustments to doors, drawers, and hardware for proper alignment and operation.
- Complete fitting, scribing, and finishing details for a clean, professional installation.
- Identify installation issues and communicate questions or concerns to the project team.
- Handle cabinetry and materials carefully and protect surrounding surfaces.
- Keep tools, materials, and work areas organized and clean.
- Follow jobsite safety requirements and represent Creative Cabinet Works professionally.
