Position Overview
A Community Manager at Creative Arts Studio oversees the daily operations of a studio location while helping create a positive, organized, and welcoming environment for students, parents, teachers, and staff. This role works closely with the Growth Director and Creative Coordinator to manage customer relationships, administrative operations, staff coordination, and overall building functionality.
The Community Manager is responsible for ensuring the location runs efficiently, maintaining strong communication with families and staff, supporting enrollment growth, and helping the studio meet operational and financial goals.
ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the studio location.
- Ensure the facility remains safe, organized, functional, and welcoming.
- Conduct regular studio walkthroughs and building organization checks.
- Coordinate and manage time-sensitive operational duties.
- Manage visible updates throughout the studio including signs, calendars, and announcements.
- Submit and monitor location purchase requests and supply needs.
- Monitor suppliers and services to ensure efficiency and budget compliance.
- Assist in planning the use of materials and human resources.
Customer Relations & Enrollment
- Maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Manage customer contracts alongside the Growth Director.
- Assist with enrollment and close sales after tryouts.
- Conduct customer confirmation and follow-up calls.
- Update and manage parent WhatsApp groups.
- Participate in semester pre-sale campaigns coordinated by the Growth Director.
Financial & Reporting Duties
- Manage monthly invoices and cash receipts.
- Oversee the daily cash register for the location.
- Monitor location budgets and operational expenses.
- Review sales reports, activity reports, and performance data to help identify areas of growth or improvement.
Staff & Class Coordination
- Coordinate class schedules and daily studio activities.
- Prepare staff work schedules and assign duties when needed.
- Maintain teacher and student attendance records.
- Support communication between staff, teachers, and administration.
- Assist in coordinating events, programs, and daily logistics.
Systems & Student Management
- Maintain and update student information in Square and other internal systems.
- Ensure records and paperwork remain accurate and organized.
- Help manage operational communication between departments and studio locations.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in management, administration, customer service, or operations preferred.
- Experience in education, arts programs, or community organizations is a plus.
- Proficiency with scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and communication platforms preferred.
- B.A. in Business Administration or related field preferred, but not required based on experience.

Pay: $8.00 - $14.00 per hour
