Position Summary
The BCBA / Program Director is responsible for the clinical, operational, and administrative oversight of the Adult Day Program at CALL. This role ensures high-quality, person-centered services for adults with developmental disabilities, including individuals with significant behavioral needs, while leading staff and supporting program development.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Oversight (BCBA Role)

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide ongoing data analysis and progress monitoring
  • Train staff in behavior strategies and de-escalation techniques
  • Ensure services meet professional and ethical standards

Program Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the Adult Day Program
  • Ensure programming is structured, meaningful, and person-centered
  • Maintain schedules, staffing coverage, and program quality
  • Implement continuous program improvements

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Supervise and support direct support professionals and program staff
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  • Promote a positive and accountable team environment

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with Title 17, Title 22, DDS, and regional center requirements
  • Oversee progress notes, behavior data, and incident reports
  • Prepare for audits and licensing visits
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records

Individual Support Planning

  • Participate in IPP/ISP meetings
  • Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ensure services align with individual goals
  • Advocate for participant needs

Safety & Crisis Management

  • Oversee crisis intervention strategies
  • Ensure staff are trained in safety procedures
  • Respond to incidents and ensure proper follow-up
  • Maintain a safe program environment

Administrative & Strategic Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting and resource allocation
  • Track program metrics and outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Clinical & Training Requirements

  • A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Management Consultant (Title 17 CCR Section 54342(a)) must provide behavioral services at a minimum of 2 hours per participant per month, or averaged semi-annually
  • Hours may be prorated based on part-time attendance
  • This requirement must be in place by December 31, 2025
  • Direct service staff must complete one-time behavior-focused training aligned with BACB RBT 40-hour training requirements
  • New staff: within 12 months of hire
  • Existing staff: by June 30, 2026
  • The program will maintain ongoing annual training based on participant needs

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
