Position Summary
The BCBA / Program Director is responsible for the clinical, operational, and administrative oversight of the Adult Day Program at CALL. This role ensures high-quality, person-centered services for adults with developmental disabilities, including individuals with significant behavioral needs, while leading staff and supporting program development.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight (BCBA Role)
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide ongoing data analysis and progress monitoring
- Train staff in behavior strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Ensure services meet professional and ethical standards
Program Management
- Oversee daily operations of the Adult Day Program
- Ensure programming is structured, meaningful, and person-centered
- Maintain schedules, staffing coverage, and program quality
- Implement continuous program improvements
Staff Supervision & Development
- Supervise and support direct support professionals and program staff
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management
- Promote a positive and accountable team environment
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with Title 17, Title 22, DDS, and regional center requirements
- Oversee progress notes, behavior data, and incident reports
- Prepare for audits and licensing visits
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
Individual Support Planning
- Participate in IPP/ISP meetings
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure services align with individual goals
- Advocate for participant needs
Safety & Crisis Management
- Oversee crisis intervention strategies
- Ensure staff are trained in safety procedures
- Respond to incidents and ensure proper follow-up
- Maintain a safe program environment
Administrative & Strategic Responsibilities
- Support budgeting and resource allocation
- Track program metrics and outcomes
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Clinical & Training Requirements
- A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Management Consultant (Title 17 CCR Section 54342(a)) must provide behavioral services at a minimum of 2 hours per participant per month, or averaged semi-annually
- Hours may be prorated based on part-time attendance
- This requirement must be in place by December 31, 2025
- Direct service staff must complete one-time behavior-focused training aligned with BACB RBT 40-hour training requirements
- New staff: within 12 months of hire
- Existing staff: by June 30, 2026
- The program will maintain ongoing annual training based on participant needs
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
