Infant Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a loving, upbeat, and dependable Infant Teacher to join our childcare team. This position is perfect for someone who has a heart for babies, a servant attitude, and a passion for caring for children in a Christ-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, loving, and attentive care for infants
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized classroom
• Follow daily infant schedules including feeding, diapering, naps, and developmental activities
• Communicate clearly with parents about their child’s day
• Use childcare software/technology for daily reports and communication
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
• Work as part of a team to support the needs of the center
• Be flexible and adaptable as classroom needs change

Qualifications

• Experience caring for infants is required
• Passion for working with young children
• Positive, upbeat attitude
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable using technology and childcare reporting systems
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Dependable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualities

• A servant’s heart and desire to love and care for children as Jesus taught
• Previous childcare center experience
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
