Role Description
This contract position is for an on-site Speech Language Pathologist located in Dallas, TX. The role involves assessing and diagnosing communication and feeding disorders, creating personalized therapy plans, and providing treatment for patients. The candidate will collaborate with families, pediatricians, and other professionals to ensure well-rounded care. Additional responsibilities include monitoring progress, documenting treatments, and adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet individual needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy techniques and managing Speech-related disorders
- Expertise in addressing Dysphagia and related feeding therapy needs
- In-depth knowledge and skills in managing Communication and Language Disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families and other service providers
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- SLP-A may be considered
