Our Philosophy:

  • All children have the right to educational and therapeutic services alongside other children with whom they can learn and practice play, language, social, and school-readiness skills.
  • Our employees are the backbone of our program and deserve to work in an environment where high-quality therapy is delivered in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities: Autism Specialists are responsible for developing behavior analytic programming for the children on their caseloads in the areas of learning readiness, verbal behavior, learning readiness and daily living skills. BCBAs are also responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments related to insurance reauthorizations, and for supervising the Registered Behavior Technicians who work directly with the children on their caseload. Other responsibilities include the following:

  • Collaborate with other CCT team members including the Clinical Director, Occupational Therapist, and Speech-Language Therapists, and teachers.
  • Conduct parent training sessions.
  • Facilitate team meetings with RBTs to train on programming as needed, and provide active supervision in which teaching protocols are explained, modeled, and overseen until RBT is comfortable and fluent with teaching procedures.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and organize workload in an efficient and productive manner in the assigned work time.
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt to constant changes in schedule and environment.
  • Provide quality ABA programming/procedures in a manner that takes into account the special needs of the patient (e.g., age, culture, learning ability, etc.)
  • Take initiative to learn and apply new processes and procedures by attending in-services, pertinent continuing education seminars, and reading professional journals and sharing that information with team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Interest in working as part of a team and collaborating with other professionals.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Diversity Statement: At CCT, we provide services to some wonderful children and their families who come from a range of diverse backgrounds. The nature of our work requires the celebration of individual differences amongst the children we see, and we uphold the same commitment for inclusion and diversity for our employees.
