SUMMARY:
The Technology Experience Specialist is the ultimate host and experience guide at OneZeno Games, responsible for delivering inspiring, hands-on workshops, events, and customer experiences that drive lead generation, revenue growth, and customer loyalty. Reporting to the Technology Support & Experience Coordinator, this role leads the charge in making every guest feel empowered, creative, and eager to return.
Whether facilitating a workshop, demoing equipment, or supporting a live event, the Technology Experience Specialist actively promotes experiences and products while delivering exceptional service. Their ability to engage guests, showcase studio offerings, and convert interest into action plays a key role in the studio’s overall success. This is a sales-forward, guest-facing role ideal for someone who loves people, technology, and turning innovation into community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Facilitate interactive workshops, creative sessions, and group experiences across all gaming studio spaces - including game design, esports production, streaming, simulation technology, and AI tools.
· Activate the front event area by hosting contests, gaming tournaments, esports showcases, tech demos, and live-streams that engage and inspire.
· Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, guiding them through studio options, and recommending the right tools and sessions for their goals.
· Introduce and promote paid offerings such as advanced-level workshops, contests, merchandise, and tech bundles.
· Encourage repeat visits and upsells by building rapport and making personalized recommendations.
· Help convert walk-ins, group visits, and outreach groups into loyal, return customers and leads through high-impact experiences.
· Assist with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of gaming equipment and technology, spaces, and materials to ensure a smooth and professional environment.
· Monitor studio usage and ensure safe and proper use of all tools and equipment.
· Troubleshoot tech issues and support guests in using creative gear confidently.
· Collaborate with the Technology Support & Experience Coordinator to provide customer insights and improve programming and service flow.
SALES & GROWTH RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Actively sell gaming experiences and esports programs and experiences by sharing upcoming events and paid workshops during guest interactions.
· Help drive monthly sales and lead goals by contributing to upsells, re-engagement, and on-site conversions.
· Track and report guest engagement trends and assist in identifying opportunities to boost revenue.
· Represent the OneZeno Games brand with energy, enthusiasm, and a focus on turning great experiences into lasting customer relationships.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· 1–3 years of experience in gaming technology or esports operations, sales, events, or customer service.
· Experience leading workshops or interactive gaming or tech programming is a strong plus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
· Background check required.
· Relevant certifications in gaming technology or esports operations and technology (e.g. Network , Unreal Engine, Esports Management Certificate, etc.) are a plus.
COMPUTER AND EQUIPMENT SKILLS:
· Proficiency in operating PC and console hardware, gaming platforms, game engines, enterprise software (like Visual Studio), audio equipment, camera equipment, and AR/VR hardware.
· Comfortable using macOS and Windows systems.
· Basic POS and scheduling software knowledge preferred.
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role is active and hands-on, requiring regular standing, walking, and interaction with guests. Occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs) may be required for equipment setup. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is essential to support events and peak hours.
