Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business to Business, Outside Sales Account Executive to join our regional sales team.
This role is responsible for driving new business growth for our industrial safety and compliance training programs across the region by building & maintaining relationships with manufacturing, logistics, construction and other safety-conscious companies.
This is an in-person, office-based field role. You’ll work from our Chattanooga office for calls, planning, and reporting, and spend most days in the field prospecting, meeting verified prospects, referral partners, and attending local networking events. You will be responsible for generating, closing and managing your book of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and close new business through calls, email, and in-person visits
- Manage the full sales cycle from outreach through earning repeat business
- Conduct in-person product presentations and demonstrations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems
- Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings
- Submit reporting and participate in team and pipeline reviews.
Qualifications
- 2 years of B2B service sales experience with experience serving the manufacturing, chemical, government, or industrial sectors
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CRM software (Hubspot or Salesforce experience preferred)
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including developing excel and power point
- Highly proficient in using technology to increase efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Must not now or in the future require visa sponsorship to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Work Environment
Account Executives may work in various settings, including office environments and field sales. This role will require local travel to meet clients or attend industry events.
