About the Job
Cream of the Crop LLC is hiring a Professional Flatbed Driver with real experience, real work ethic, and the ability to represent the company with professionalism on every load. This is a position for someone who knows flatbed work, communicates clearly, and shows up on time.
What You’ll Haul
- Spring, Summer, Fall: Side‑kits and Conestogas loaded with grain bin parts
- Winter: Sheetrock on open‑deck flatbeds (tarping required)
What You’ll Do
- Operate flatbed equipment including side kits and Conestogas
- Break down trailers at warehouses or job sites so freight can be accessed
- Remove and store straps, chains, and securement gear properly
- Maintain a professional, respectful presence with customers and dealers
- Communicate delivery timing directly with customers
- Self‑start and manage your workflow
- Climb in, on, and around trailers as needed
- Tarp loads during winter sheetrock season
- Keep equipment legal, safe, and in good working order (repairs handled at our shop)
Requirements
- 2 years flatbed experience
- Class A CDL
- Must be insurable
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
- Must pass a drug test
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to climb, lift, and work around flatbed equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Pay & Benefits
- 27% of the load (W-2)
- 100% of detention pay
- 100% of stop pay
- Health insurance available
- Paid time off after one year
- Home time --Through the house 2 to 3 times a week, weekends are optional
- All repairs handled at our shop — we don’t benefit from a truck that isn’t legal or safe

Where You’ll Be Based
Most work centers around Sheffield, IA, but living within an hour and a half is perfectly acceptable.
Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,600.00 per week
