What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employment Litigation Associate position at Crea Legal Search?

An Am Law 100 firm is currently in search of a Labor & Employment Associate for their Boston office.


The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 2-6 years of comprehensive experience in employment litigation, employment counseling, and traditional labor work, demonstrating a strong understanding of labor and employment law intricacies.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts bar, or the ability to waive in asap.


Duties:

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for employment litigation cases.
  • Providing legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assisting with internal investigations into allegations of workplace misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
  • Participating in negotiations and settlement discussions with opposing parties in employment disputes.
  • Providing support to Senior Attorneys in complex employment litigation matters, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • $260,000 - $435,000
  • Annual billable hours target of 1900.
