Position Overview:
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Packer to join our team in Independence, MO. As a Packer, you’ll assist with packing, handling, and transporting textiles and personal items from customer sites to our facility and back. This role is hands-on and may involve working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Carefully pack and label textiles, electronics, and other items for transport and restoration
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
- Follow proper handling and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively with customers
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Previous warehouse, packing, or restoration experience a plus
