Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Underwriting Associate located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Underwriting Associate will support the underwriting team with evaluating and assessing potential risks, processing insurance applications, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines to help place business. The role involves analyzing data, preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure excellent customer service and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including both written and verbal abilities, to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Solid Analytical Skills for assessing risk profiles, reviewing data, and making informed decisions
- Knowledge and experience in Underwriting processes and insurance industry best practices
- Exceptional Customer Service skills to provide high-quality support and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in insurance or underwriting roles is advantageous
