What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at CRC-Evans Pipeline International?
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Material Handler is responsible for filling customer orders, delivering them to the delivery platform, and loading product onto trailers in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Role specific responsibilities
- Receives pick tickets from the warehouse coordinator and read order number, size, color and quantity of merchandise.
- Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves.
- Picks customer orders for shipment ensuring that the correct number and product type is loaded and shipped.
- Carries or transports orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment ensuring orders are staged in order of delivery.
- Maintains material handling equipment by noting and reporting any damage or malfunction.
- May assist in placing incoming items in inventory.
- May conduct physical inventories as required.
- Adhere to departmental safety and security standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
- Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time if necessary.
- Physically capable of climbing, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously
REQUIREMENTS
Job Specific Education Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience Required:
- 2 years previous warehouse-related work experience, preferred
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
