Job Summary:
Crazy Steve's Fireworks is looking for energetic, dependable individuals to join our team as Seasonal Sales Associates/Stockers for the New Year's holiday rush. This position involves helping customers find the right fireworks, keeping merchandise organized, and ensuring a fun and welcoming shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Welcome shoppers, offer helpful product guidance, and answer questions with a positive attitude.
- Sales Support: Recommend products, assist customers with purchases, and accurately complete transactions using the POS system.
- Merchandising & Stocking: Receive and unpack deliveries, price items, restock shelves, and maintain clear, organized displays.
- Store Upkeep: Help keep the store tidy and safe by cleaning floors, organizing inventory areas, and managing trash as needed.
- Safety Practices: Follow all firework safety rules and store procedures to protect both customers and staff.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with coworkers and management to meet sales goals and support day-to-day operations.
Job Requirements:
- Basic math skills for handling sales and pricing.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with fireworks or safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Position Details:
This is a seasonal role running from December 26th through January 3rd for the New Year's season.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
