Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking passionate and skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team at our vibrant East Hamptons location. As a Line Cook at Crazy Pizza, you will be an essential part of creating the high-quality dishes that define the Crazy Pizza experience. You’ll work alongside a talented team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every plate that leaves the kitchen meets our high standards. Essential Duties of This Role:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to Crazy Pizza’s recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
Set up and stock workstations with all necessary supplies and ingredients, ensuring you’re ready for service.
Assist with daily food prep, preparing ingredients and components of dishes before service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food service during busy periods.
Monitor food stock and communicate any needs to the Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients, adhering to food safety standards.
Assist in closing the kitchen at the end of the shift, including cleaning and storing all equipment and supplies.
Perform other duties as directed by the Chef or management team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment for at least one year is preferred.
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and pizza-making is a strong plus.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay focused under pressure.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for culinary excellence and creating memorable dining experiences.
