We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
• Help with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Support banquet operations by efficiently cleaning dishes used during events.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation in the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Willingness to help with various tasks as needed within the culinary team.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
