Job Description

Crawlspace Correct is the premier crawlspace encapsulation and moisture control expert in the Charleston area, and we are looking for dedicated Part-Time Crawlspace Helpers to join our team.
This role is ideal for self-starters who want to be rewarded for their speed and efficiency!
> Performance-Based Pay Structure: Earn $200/Day
We believe hard work should pay off fast. Our compensation is structured to incentivize speed and quality:
- Flat Daily Rate: $200.00 per day worked.
- The Incentive: Projects are quoted a specific number of days (e.g., 3-day project). If you and the crew complete the project faster than the allotted time (e.g., you finish the 3-day job in 2 days), you still receive the full pay for the original allocated days ($600 total).
- Your speed determines your hourly rate!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Technician with all phases of crawlspace encapsulation and waterproofing projects.
- Clear crawlspaces of debris, old insulation, and mold-affected materials.
- Carry heavy materials (vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, sump pumps, gravel) into and out of tight spaces.
- Assist with the installation of thick vapor barriers on the floor and foundation walls.
- Prepare the work site, including setting up safety equipment and ventilation fans.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols (PPE is required).
- Follow detailed instructions and SOPs to ensure high-quality workmanship.
What We’re Looking For
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 70 lbs repeatedly, kneel, crawl, and work in tight, dark, and damp environments for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must show up on time and be ready to work hard on scheduled project days.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively and communicate clearly within a crew.
- Attention to Detail: Commitment to quality work to ensure customer satisfaction and warranty standards are met.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to various job sites within the Charleston tri-county area.
- Prior experience in construction, encapsulation, or labor is a plus, but not required—we will train the right motivated individual.
Job Details
- Schedule: Part-Time, Project-Based. Schedule will vary week-to-week based on booked jobs (typically 1-4 days per week).
- Hours: Workday hours will be project-dependent but expect early starts (typically 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM) until the day's tasks are completed.
