Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. A clean MVR and a negative drug screen are required for consideration of this position. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of materials.
Duties:
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, or asphalt to and from construction sites
- Load and unload materials using the truck's hydraulic system
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the dump truck
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate daily tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating dump trucks or other heavy equipment
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for dump trucks
- Ability to read maps and follow directions
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- MUST be able to drive both manual and automatic.
