Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner coordinates the planning, implementation and on-going monitoring and evaluation of patients in the orthopedic care setting under the supervision of a collaborating licensed physician. Responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, treating patient conditions, educating patients and family members about medical and surgical options, prescribing medications and treatments, and performing other duties to support patients. Assist in coordinating continuum of care.
Certification/Licensure
- Current IL Nurse Practitioner License Required
- Current IL DEA License Required
- BLS Required
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
Experience
- 2 years orthopedic experience preferred
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
