Job Title: Deputy Sheriff
Location: Crawford County Judicial Center, 359 E. Center Street Meadville, PA 16335
Classification: Per Diem – Non-Exempt, Non-Union
Work Hours: Weekday hours as needed
Essential Duties: To maintain law and order, with on view violations of law that cause or can cause a peace disturbance while performing their duties; to perform security of all persons and property in the Judicial Center and Courthouse, or other County Property they may be called on to protect; to conduct prisoner transportations; to serve legal papers and orders for the Courts.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Municipal Police Officers Education and Training (Act 120) or valid PCCD- required. Act 2 Certification required. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record. Ability to pass a background check. Must qualify in weapons training.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
