What are the responsibilities and job description for the 911 Emergency Dispatcher position at Crawford County 911?
$16 hr to begin and $18 hr after training
Changing the world begins here. We are responsible for taking the 911 calls for Crawford County and dispatching the appropriate response, whether it be Law Enforcement, Medical, or Fire Department. The dispatcher provides potential life saving instructions, as well as providing overwatch for field responder. Customer service skills and multi-tasking are essential. Must be able to operate multiple computer screens and function as a team.
Paid medical/dental/vision for the employee, as well as short/long term disability.
**Retention bonus available after 6 months**
You must have transportation to work and be available for all shifts. **Mandatory background check with no felony convictions.
