What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Light Housekeeping Cafeteria Custodian position at Crawford Central School District?
This is a part time position during the school year, 180 days per year, 8 hours per day. Hours are 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Vacuum/sweep, mop and dust entrance ways, steps, office, lockers, commons area, serving area, kitchen and hallways; empty and take out trash - clean cans as needed; check and clean restrooms, pick up tables and put away, wash walls as needed, snow removal and salt steps as needed, traffic control and cafeteria.
LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING - ELEMENTARY AND/OR SECONDARY
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Ability to read basic operating instructions.
- Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of the task assigned.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate or acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Building Manager
JOB GOAL: To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General maintenance of school grounds.
- Assists in snow removal.
- Participates in the general cleaning and maintenance of the school building.
- Assumes responsibility for the general security of the building.
- Assumes responsibility for the general fire safety of the building.
- Performs other reasonable duties as are assigned by the Building Manager for the well being of the school district.
