We are seeking a friendly and professional Monday - Friday Lunch Host to join our team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage guest flow efficiently to minimize wait times during busy lunch hours
- Take reservations and manage waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Provide menu recommendations and answer guest questions about food options and specials
- Ensure tables are clean, set up appropriately, and ready for new guests
- Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Process orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized host station and dining area throughout shifts
- Uphold high standards of guest services, hospitality, and guest relations at all times
Skills
- Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality best practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills
- Experience in serving or hotel guest services is a plus
- Ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
